Migraines are annoying, painful and one of the nerve breaking things that could ever happen to you. When you experience constant headaches, it is very difficult to get things done. You can lose your appetite, feel bad, can’t get a good night sleep, and mostly you could go crazy with yourself. If you really want to learn how to get rid of migraines fast, you must understand what causes this annoying disease in the first place.

Migraines are usually caused by too much stress and blockage in your digestive systems. We live in a busy world where our main concerns are responsibilities for families and how to make money to support them. Sometimes we are stressed out over deadlines, rent, utility bills, children college funds which clogged up our minds most of the time. These problems cause your brain to overwork and become exhausted overtime. When this happens, it prevent the blood from providing enough nutrients and especially oxygen to help you brain work properly.

One of the best ways to release stress is to just take your mind off the pressure and responsibility. It is much easier said than done, but think about how worries and over thinking can really change your life. It is certainly not. When you are full of worries and stress, nothing good will happen. The best way is to understand what is more important in your life, is it money or your health? If you want to get rid of migraines fast, you must give yourself a break and relax, don’t push it too much.

When I’m stressed out, I always go for a walk or run over the neighborhood because exercising helps you relax and feel better. It also help you digest foods better which can prevent constipation and headaches in the first place. If you want to get rid of migraines once and for all, I suggest you give yourself at least 5 to 10 minutes a day for cardio exercise and workouts.

Migraines also caused by the diets and foods you eat. If your intestines can’t digest the food very well, it will create lots of unwanted wastes inside your colon bowels that might cause serious blockage and constipation. You must drink lots of fluid to flush out the wastes and cleanse the toxins from your body to prevent them from getting into your bloodstreams which will later be transferred all over your body. Green tea, water, and any kind of juice are great for cleaning your internal systems and you should drink at least 8 glasses a day.

If you want to get rid of migraines fast, you need to change your food diets and exercise routines. You also need to drink lots of water to cleanse the wastes, neutralize the toxins, and keep your body stay hydrated.

Many people who suffer from chronic headaches and migraines do not know that temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) causes them. Your temporomandibular joint is where your lower jaw connects to your skull. When this joint gets out of alignment, it is referred to as TMD, and it can cause many different physical problems.

When your temporomandibular joint is out of alignment, it causes the muscles in your face, head, and neck that surround the joint, to strain at everything they do. Even while at rest, the muscles are having excess stress put on them because of the misaligned joint.

The strained muscles in your head, face, and neck can cause headaches or TMJ migraines. TMJ headaches are often so painful, severe, and frequent that they are misdiagnosed as migraines. One of the ways to determine if you are suffering from headaches or migraines as a result of TMD is by getting diagnosed by a specially trained neuromuscular dentist like Dr. Pavlenko in Edmonton, Alberta.

When the muscles are constantly strained or contracted they can cause tension headaches. TMJ headaches can also be caused by a build-up of blood pressure. When the muscles in your face, head, and neck are strained, they prevent blood from flowing to the correct places. When this happens, your body attempts to correct the problem by sending more blood to the area, which increases blood pressure. This can cause a very painful feeling of pressure around the head, called a vascular headache.

A neuromuscular dentist will work with you to diagnose your headaches or migraines and determine if TMJ is causing them. If it is, he will design a treatment plan specifically suited for you. First he will relax and rid the muscles around the joint to stop the pain they are causing. Then, your jaw will be stabilized so that the best treatment for you can be determined. Finally, the two of you can discuss a long-term treatment that is designed specifically for you.

The symptoms of TMD can cause discomfort and they can lead to serious physical damage. You could be suffering from TMD if you are experiencing symptoms like:

·	Sensitive/Sore Teeth

·	Sore jaw muscles

·	Pain in the head, neck, and shoulders

·	Facial Pain

·	Headaches

·	Migraines

·	Ringing in the ears

·	Locking of the jaw

·	Clicking/Popping of the jaw

·	Limited jaw movement

·	Worn Teeth

·	Chipped Teeth

To find more information or receive a personalized diagnosis of your symptoms, contact a neuromuscular dentist such as Dr. Pavlenko in Edmunton, Alberta.

Are you a migraneur (one who suffers from migraine pain)? If you are, then you are most definitely aware of the intense throbbing headache that it brings and the disabling symptoms that accompany it!

The word “migraine” originated from the Greek work “hemicrania” which literally means “half of the head”. This is because classic migraine headaches usually affect one side of the head only, with the pain centering on the eye or temple. It can be accompanied by several other symptoms such as numbness or weakness, nausea or vomiting, dizziness and a marked sensitivity to light, noise, odors and touch.

Migraine headaches tend to affect the females more than the males. In fact for every four migraine sufferers, three would be females! It was also observed that migraine tends to run in the family so if you have a close relative who suffers from this debilitating condition, there is a great chance that you would, too.

What does a migraine headache feel like?

Those who have already suffered from migraine headaches describe the pain as a constant, intense throbbing pain that can literally knock you off your feet. Migraine headaches can be so disabling that you need to lie still in a dark quiet room and avoid even the slightest of stimulation to any of your primary senses to prevent the pain from worsening. Migraine headaches can also be accompanied by nausea and vomiting but in some cases, vomiting can actually help in relieving the pain.

Migraine headaches can hit you all of a sudden. However, if you are observant enough, you will notice a series of warning signs before the onset of the pain. These may include abrupt mood changes, food cravings, excessive yawning and speech or memory problems. You may also notice a change in your energy level and/or experience increased sensitivity.

A number of migraine sufferers may also experience visual disturbances, temporary vision problems and may feel a tingling sensation in their lips and hands. In some extreme cases; migraine headaches can even cause a person to hallucinate, go temporarily blind or be unable to speak!

When the headache finally ends, you may either feel more alive with your energy literally bursting at the seams or you may feel completely drained and washed out for about a day or so. Even your emotions may be affected – you may experience extreme mood changes from euphoria to depression in an instant!

Migraine headaches were observed to be triggered by a lot of different factors – from stress to a diet dominated by processed foods. You may not know it but you may be eating a lot of foods that can trigger the onset of migraine headaches. Among the most common culprits are the following:

o Dairy products such as buttermilk, chocolate milk, ripened cheeses, sour cream and yogurt

o Processed meat and fish such as bacon, bologna, corned beef, hotdogs, pickled herring, salami, sausages and smoked fish, among others

o Yeast breads and cakes

o Beverages that contain alcohol and caffeine

o Condiments such as MSG, soy sauce and vinegar

o Pickled foods

If you are prone to migraine headaches, you may also want to avoid certain fruits and vegetables such as avocado, banana, beans, citrus fruits and juices, nuts, onions, papaya, raisins and certain seeds (pumpkin, sesame and sunflower). They may just worsen the frequency and intensity of your migraine pains!

Only a migraine sufferer understands the pain. Regardless of how the migraine starts the end result is the same – excruciating pain that renders you helpless. Walking hurts, breathing hurts. Even thinking hurts.

People often discount migraines without any true understanding of the suffering a migraine can inflict. They treat migraine sufferers like hypochondriacs or drama queens. This is simply not so. There are any number of painkillers and pills available to help curb the pain. The issue here is that many of these painkillers require repeat prescriptions and involve an ongoing cost. The other side effect of many of the prescribed medicines is that they can help with the pain of the migraine headache itself but tend to have a “knockout” effect on the sufferer.

Most migraine sufferers will be familiar with the “where did the day go?” effect of many of the stronger painkillers. There are natural remedies to the migraine plague. They’re simple and cheap (if not free). None of these are to replace prescribed medication but can be used in conjunction with your medication to bring relief about faster. They also complement each other.

Dark Room

If you suffer from migraine headaches and an attack begins then find the quietest, darkest spot in your home and lay down there. The area or should also be relatively warm to allow you to relax faster. Your eyes should remain covered but open. This usually means using some sort of blindfold but a scarf, long handkerchief or other material works just fine. Keep your eyes open as much as possible because experience has shown that shutting your eyes to try and cope with the pain uses extra facial and jaw muscles that can just increase the problem and not cure it.

If an attack has already begun then follow the same routine and take whatever prescribed medication you have.

Relaxed Breathing

A migraine attack generally brings on a sort of anxiety attack in the sufferer. They know how much it’s going to hurt so their heart rate increases. This increase in blood flow makes the problem worse. Once you’ve retreated to the quiet, dark area and covered your eyes from any possible stimuli then breathing is the next area to focus on. You must let your breathing relax. Panicked breathing will increase the pain you’re already experiencing.

To allow your breathing to relax follow these steps:

1. Take a long slow deep breath and exhale equally slowly.

2. Again take a long, slow deep breath. As you’re slowly inhaling focus on the sensation of the air filling your lungs. Feel the air filling your body. Once you’ve inhaled as much as is comfortable again exhale slowly. As you’re exhaling focus on the sensation of the air leaving your lungs and escaping through your mouth. Breathe out completely.

3. Repeat the process of inhaling slowly, focusing on the sensation of the air filling your lungs and exhaling slowly 4 or 5 more times.

4. By the fourth repetition you should notice that your breathing is far more relaxed and calm. Your heart rate should now also have lowered back to a resting rate and you may even feel slightly sleepy. If so embrace that feeling and allow yourself to fall asleep.

Lavender Oil

This is the final step in the process. Lavender oil is renowned for its medicinal properties and this is doubly so for migraine headaches. Lavender oil is cheap and completely safe to use. Only use pure Lavender oil for treating migraines – lavender scented fragrances or scented oils are useless. It must be the purest lavender oil you can find.

If you feel a migraine attack coming then grab your lavender oil. Place a single drop of pure, undiluted lavender oil on each temple or behind each ear. Also place 2 or 3 drops of undiluted lavender oil on the pillow you’re going to rest on.

Combined with a quiet, dark room and the deep breathing technique the lavender oil provides that final “punch” in the natural treatments. The scent of the oil will relax you and simply inhaling lavender infused air helps to ease the pain of a migraine almost immediately.

Do you suffer from extremely serious headaches? Have you researched different ways to try and get rid of them, but so far, nothing has worked? Are you coming to a point where you are literally ready to give up? Great! This article will help you understand some of the basics for the treatment of a migraine!

#1 Turn off the TV

No doubt after a long day at work, the first thing you want to do is put your feet up and watch the TV for a while. The problem here is that the likes of computer and TV screens play a huge part in people developing migraines. Because of the intensity of the screen and the tendency for most people to squint, this is the perfect production grounds for a headache.

For this reason, simply decreasing the amount of time you spend at a computer screen should be good enough to start to reduce the intensity and frequency of your headaches.

#2 Watch what you eat and drink!

The next thing you need to take note of, is that your diet can sometimes trigger off these headaches. There are some common items that are known to trigger off these types of headaches including caffeine, chocolate, cheese, alcohol, and MSG.

Of course, there are plenty of other items that do the same, so after digesting most foods and fluids, take note as to whether or not they affected you in a positive or negative way.

#3 Seeking professional help

Sometimes these small precautions are not enough to be used as the sold treatment of a migraine. For this reason, a lot of people choose to seek medical help from trained professionals. It is likely that they will ask the times and reasons for you getting such bad migraines and being able to tell them will ensure that they prescribe the correct dosage and make them a thing of the past as soon as possible.

Warning: Do not just use any one of these methods as a way to get rid of your migraines. The reality is that you can use all of them combined to ensure that you get rid of this problem before it really is too late.

Massage, a common method of relieving migraine headaches, can be done by a professional – or you can do it yourself using this technique.

A light massage combined with migraine pressure points will give you the greatest relief. You need only a few simple points about how to massage a migraine headache.

Migraine Pressure Point Defined

It is important to learn the migraine pressure point or points that bring relief. A migraine pressure point is a point on your body that, when pressed, will lessen the pain in your head. Surprisingly, a migraine pressure point is not necessarily the point that hurts most.

A migraine pressure point may be pressed and released in slow, rhythmical fashion, and deliberately massaged to gain relief. This will release congested energy and blood from the head and ease your pain.

Migraine Pressure Point Technique

You will be treating each migraine pressure point with these simple steps.

* Use only the pads of your thumbs or first two fingers – never the ends.

* Keep the pressure light to moderate, depending on how sensitive the point is to your touch.

* Press hard enough so you can feel hardness or tension under your thumb or fingers.

* If a migraine pressure point hurts so much that you can’t take a deep breath, apply less pressure on that point.

* Let your fingers sink into the migraine pressure point as you apply pressure gradually. Feel your thumb or finger going gently, gradually deeper and deeper.

* While your thumb or finger is as deep as you want to go, massage the point with tiny, circular movements of your finger.

* Keep your thumb or finger on the migraine pressure point until you feel a movement or change there. It may feel softer or warmer.

* Now slowly, gradually release the migraine pressure point until your thumb or finger leaves the skin.

* Repeat several times at same point.

Migraine Pressure Point Locations

Remember to be firm, but gentle. Insufficient pressure on a migraine pressure point will not be effective – too much pressure will create tension in your surrounding muscles.

Here are a few migraine pressure point locations to get you started. Start with the first, and work your way through each point, consciously relaxing as you do so.

1. Migraine Pressure Point at Base of Skull

Locate the bony base of your skull in back. Place your thumb pads under the skull’s base, each thumb about 1 inch from your spinal column. Holding your thumbs against the two points, tilt your head back slightly. Now press upward gradually, counting to 10, and breathing deeply as you do so. When you reach the deepest point, massage with tiny, circular motions of the thumbs, still holding the pressure. When you feel a change in the point, slowly release the pressure, counting to 10 again. Repeat 5 times.

2. Migraine Pressure Point at Mid-Forehead

This migraine pressure point is located at the middle of your forehead, right between your eyebrows. Using the migraine pressure point technique described above, and your thumbs or one of the first two fingers, press inward gradually, counting to 10, and breathing deeply as you do so. When you reach the deepest point, massage with tiny, circular motions, still holding the pressure. As you feel a change in the point, slowly release the pressure, counting to 10 as you do so. Repeat 10 times.

3. Migraine Pressure Point at Eye Corners

Feel the face at the outer corners of your eyes. Move your fingers away from the eyes until you find the spots just behind the bone. Using the migraine pressure point technique and one or two finger pads, apply pressure gradually inward, counting to 10, and breathing deeply as you do so. When you reach the deepest point, massage with tiny, circular motions, still holding the pressure. As you feel a change in the point, slowly release the pressure, counting to 10 as you do so. Repeat 10 times.

4. Migraine Pressure Point on Hand

Surprisingly, you have a migraine pressure point on each hand. It’s the fleshy part between your thumb and index finger. Using the thumb pad and index finger of your opposite hand, gradually squeeze the upper portion of this migraine pressure point, counting to 10 and breathing deeply. When you reach the deepest point, massage with tiny, circular motions, still holding the pressure. As you feel a change in the point, slowly release the pressure, counting to 10 as you do so. Repeat 10 times.

5. Migraine Pressure Point on Foot

The last point you will use to massage migraine headaches away is located on the top of each foot. Locate the place where the bones come together between your big toe and your second toe. With thumb or finger pads, press downward gradually, counting to 10, and breathing deeply as you do so. When you reach the deepest point, massage with tiny, circular motions, still holding the pressure. As you feel a change in the point, slowly release the pressure, counting to 10 again. Repeat 10 times.

Different bodies respond differently to pressure points. These should work for you. If you want information on additional migraine pressure points, ask a local shiatsu professional. A professional will also be able to give you a complete treatment for relief or prevention of migraine headaches.

When you think of migraine headaches, the immediate thought is extreme pain, having to lie in a darkened room and basically not being able to function for a day or two. But did you know that not all migraines cause pain and that the symptoms are similar to a couple of very serious medical complaints.

A loss of peripheral vision in the left eye for forty minutes is no laughing matter. It was accompanied by a dull feeling in the head and later some nausea. The next day just a feeling of fatigue and dullness persisted.

For this to happen to someone for the first time can be confusing. For a medical professional to hear this it rings alarm bells. A CAT scan is required to rule out potential serious pathology. The most likely culprit is an Aneurysm. That is a type of stroke in which a small bleed occurs in the brain.

This kind of bleed can be minor and the person can recover fairly quickly with perhaps only a small loss of vision in the peripheral field, or it can kill or seriously disable in an instant.

The first symptom of this kind of stroke is a loss of peripheral vision! This kind of symptom must be properly investigated. It is too risky to simply be discounted as just a strange symptom. If an all clear is given on the CAT scan the diagnosis may well be that the loss of vision was a migraine.

Obviously not your run of the mill understood kind of migraine but a much rarer form. It has the loss of peripheral vision, a sense as if you are looking through water, mild headache, some nausea and a general feeling like jetlag.

This kind of migraine in many instances seems to be brought on by stress. Of course any kind of migraine can be triggered by stress as well.

The important thing is that a correct diagnosis is made. Do not assume because you know someone or because you have read this article that if you experience such an event that you can automatically self diagnose a migraine.

There are other conditions which also present such symptoms including Leukaemia One such episode killed a young healthy patient in just two weeks from the onset of loss of vision.

As with any migraine keep a record of activities including times of increased stress and dietary change. If you are under strong constant stress, you have to take steps to make changes otherwise you will suffer more frequently.

Some migraines do increase the risk of stroke so I would recommend a daily supplement of grape seed extract or Pcynogenol, a similar compound which is extracted from the marine pine bark. These compounds help to strengthen blood vessels.

Migraine headaches can be debilitating. Blinding pain along with queasiness that’s so bad that sometimes it seems like the room is spinning is something that nobody should have to deal with. Sometimes it can get so bad that you are unable to function or go to your job for days at a time. Luckily there are several ways that you can stop migraine pain and that’s what I want to talk about in this article today.

Luckily there are lots of new medications that really help out when it comes to migraine headaches. Many people don’t like to rely on medication and fortunately for them there are many alternatives.

The first thing to focus on is stress management because stress can often times trigger a migraine headache. In this article I don’t have the time to discuss the very broad range of stress management options that you have and besides, everybody is different. Just keep in mind that stress plays a huge role in migraine pain and anything you can do to relieve your stress is beneficial.

The next thing to do is eliminate caffeine. Many people have reported that caffeine, especially in large doses at the onset of migraines can actually help reduce the pain, and that may be true. But on the flip side people that drink a lot of caffeine and who try to cut back often report that this very action can trigger migraines. The best thing to do is to try and ease off of caffeine gradually over time.

Next you should take a look at your sleeping habits. Believe it or not, migraines can actually be triggered by getting too little sleep. And believe it or not, migraines can actually be triggered by getting too much sleep as well! A good rule of thumb is to aim for eight hours of sleep every night.

Next take a look at different vitamins and minerals. Magnesium plays a key role in many different brain functions. It influences blood vessel dilation and also has an effect on serotonin levels. Both of these things are factors in migraine pain. Almost half of all people who have migraine pain end up having a magnesium deficiency, some research has suggested.

It’s hard to increase your magnesium on your own because certain foods that contain a lot of it will also trigger migraines. For this reason it’s a good idea to talk to your doctor about taking some sort of a supplement. 300 to 600 mg of magnesium a day is a good target number and your doctor can give you more information about that.

Finally, acupuncture as well as massage have been shown to be fairly effective at relieving migraine pain. Unfortunately I don’t have a whole lot of experience with that so I will leave it to you to do more research in this area. It’s easy to see how massage could help because as I said earlier, stress reduction is a good way to mitigate migraine pain and massages certainly relieves stress!

So there you have several ways to manage migraine pain, prevent migraine onset, and generally lead a more migraine free lifestyle. Hopefully you found the information useful and can start down the path to migraine free existence.

The day of my first attack was during the latter days of summer in 1957. I was in my first year working for the old London Trustee Savings Bank, which was situated in Poultry in the City of London. My position as accounts clerk meant I was placed next to the vault below ground and directly under the main bank floor. I shared this space with a senior accounts clerk, who was nearing retirement. We were both working merrily away writing up the old type account cards and ledgers (long before computers came in) from all the deposit and withdrawal slips sent down to us from the Cashiers. This was a regular daily occurrence.

On the particular day in question, we were well up with our entering and it was getting near to closing of the Bank. Then suddenly, like a bolt out of the blue, my head felt like it was exploding and my eyes lost their vision. Then the feeling to my left arm disappeared and I had this great feeling to be sick, although I wasn’t. I had no alternative but to place my head on the massive ledger and shout for help. My senior accounts clerk called up to those in the main bank building and the Manager came down and started to ask me questions about what was happening to me.

IT WAS AT THIS TIME I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!!

Fortunately, as the minutes progressed the vision in my eyes started to return, but as it did there were great flashes down the outside of each eye, which resembled zigzag lightning. This stayed with me for the whole time the vision was getting back to normal, about half an hour. By this time the Bank was closed and I was now almost able to move from my seat with my arm ceasing to be partially paralysed. I was now sufficiently mobile to be able to catch the underground train from The Bank back to The Oval (Kennington) where I proceeded to walk to my doctor’s surgery.

Upon gaining entry to the doctor’s surgery and relating my recent experiences to him, especially about the bit where I said I thought I was going to die, he had the audacity to start laughing aloud relating the reasons for why I had had all these symptoms and felt as shocking bad as I did. Not what I was expecting to receive from what I would think to be a professional man.

Although when I analysed what he had said, it did not bear any resemblance to a diagnosis, as to what I had suffered almost alone and at the tender age of 16. He tried to put the blame on the cheese sandwiches I had had for lunch, followed by the four fingers of kit-kat chocolate. OK, at the time it might have sounded plausible, as others did say similar to me over the following attacks. But during my 50 plus years of suffering migraines, these two components (cheese & chocolate) would not be my reasons for the migraines interrupting my life at regular intervals.

IN FACT, I AM HAVING A MIGRAINE AS I AM WRITING THIS NOW!! So what is the reason for this? As yet nobody will be able to tell me. No cheese or chocolate has passed my lips, the whole day.

As I mentioned above, I have been getting migraine attacks for almost 52 years and during that time they have taken their similar course, but not always exactly. There have been times when I do not get pins & needles throughout one arm or the other, there are other times when I do not feel sick, not even slightly.

But the THREE main protagonists are always there, firstly the vision in my eyes goes, then the exaggerated flashing zigzags (although sometimes it is to the outside of one of the eyes only) and then the violent headache, this comes as regular as one day following another. The recovery time is always different, with sometimes a more rapid return to normality than some others. The worst being those long hours in a darkened room, under the duvet with the pillow also over your head. Not knowing when you will become NORMAL again, like other non sufferers.

Another cause of my migraines is the sudden flash of the sun off a car or lorry windscreen, this happens when you least expect it or you are not wearing sunglasses. It can also cause the most concerns, as because it affects my vision, so it will affect my view when driving. Fortunately for me, the vision it impairs is my short range vision, so I am still able to drive the car to a safe place to park and then rest up while my vision returns and I can continue my journey, having taken my tablet to relieve the headache bit.

There have been many times when I have suffered multiple attacks in the same day, the most being four. Only the other day I experienced three following very quickly after each other during one morning and this was after having an attack the previous day. In my present position with medication I would not have been too concerned because I have at last found a tablet which nullifies my headache completely and after all these years I can put up with the vision loss etc but I was down to only three tablets and was not able to get my repeat prescription because the manufacturers were not supplying them again until December -PANIC. So my doctor prescribed me some alternatives, of course no where near as good and after taking them for one day, they drove my bowels crazy with four visits to the toilet in that day. Needless to say I spent most of the day and the following night in bed (apart from the visits to the WC).

As we all are aware, we are always at the mercy of the dreaded migraine attack, not really knowing when it will happen and how bad they will be. We are also no given much encouragement from the powers that be, in that they will never know the reasons why we have to suffer. I suppose we are in a similar category to those who suffer badly with the common cold – No Remedy. Although that is no consolation, we must always take the positive view that our migraines are not usually life threatening.

So as we sufferers always do, we survive the current attack and wait for the next one to happen, because as we are certain, the next one will arrive but unlike buses, there is no timetable.

This last round of attacks was the reason I sat down and wrote this article, because although I had been suffering, I was sure there were many thousands of others suffering in a similar way.

Therefore, in closing, I will stress (there’s another good reason for an attack) that the article in this article has been written on only some of my own personal experiences (to put all of them would be boring and drive you all to a migraine). Many of you who read this may have similar experiences to me, but whatever your symptoms perhaps you would all put pen to paper and write your experiences down and then send them to me by email at the address shown below.

In this publication I have put the bad sides of what has happened throughout my 52 year migraine life, but I have also tried to implanted a little humour throughout, as we must not get ourselves into such a tunnelled existence, as migraines can send you, if you let them.

1fbe

My very best wishes to you all. Jim Hargreaves jsholdings@hotmail.com

P.S. Those of you who do actually get to writing down and sending me your migraine life, Please try to include the following:

How your migraines started and the symptoms you experienced. 2. What were the responses you received from your General Practioner. 3. The prescriptions you were prescribed and the effects they had in dealing with your suffering.

P.P.S. I will be writing a fuller version of The Migraine Experience later this year and it would be nice to have some of your letters included in that publication. Please indicate that I can use your letter and your name against the entry in the book.
